Some collections begin with a plan. Others grow naturally, shaped by the people who love what you create.
The Snow Collection began with gingerbread houses.
Every year, I design new styles of decorated gingerbread houses for Christmas, creating them in different sizes and carefully baking, assembling and decorating each one by hand.
Over time, our DIY gingerbread house kits became increasingly popular. People wanted to experience the joy of building and decorating their own little house, so the collection grew, from smaller village houses to medium and larger designs.
And while creating them, I discovered something I loved even more.
When the houses were placed together, they became a little village.
Inspired by snowy European villages, The Snow Collection is deeply personal to me. I grew up spending Christmas between Germany and the Swiss mountains, surrounded by snow-covered villages, glowing windows and the warmth of family.
And now, I wanted to make it possible for you to create that village yourself.
Gingerbread House Cutters:
From Our Designs to Your Kitchen
I wanted to give anyone who loves baking the chance to recreate these charming little houses at home.
So The Snow Collection Cutters were born.
These are the same original Aria’s Cakes house designs and sizes you will find in our DIY kits. Each has been personally designed by me as part of the collection, so you can now recreate the very same houses in your own kitchen.
And I wanted to make the experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Each cutter comes with its own specially developed Snow Collection gingerbread recipe and method, created for these particular designs, together with a QR code linking to a step-by-step video tutorials showing you how to build your house.
So you have the design, the recipe and the guidance, everything you need to create your own little Aria’s Cakes house.
Designed to be collected
One of the things I love most about this collection is that you don't have to make the whole village at once. Start with one house.
Then perhaps add another next Christmas.
Maybe your children choose their favourite. Maybe everyone makes a different house. Maybe you invite friends over and turn it into a Christmas baking afternoon.
Little by little, your village grows.
And so do the memories attached to it.
Because for me, gingerbread has never really been just about the finished house.
It is about the time spent making it.
The flour on the worktop. The icing sugar everywhere. The conversations, the laughter, the little imperfections, and the people gathered around the table.

Snow Heart House A charming winter home with a romantic character and beautiful details.
Snowflake House A delicate design inspired by the magic and patterns of winter.
Snowbell House The largest of our village houses, created to make a beautiful gingerbread centrepiece.
Snowberry House Our smaller village house, around 6 cm tall, proving that even the tiniest house can be full of character.
Snowdrop House The smallest of the collection. A little mug house, perfect beside a festive hot chocolate, coffee or tea.

And because gingerbread isn't only for Christmas, I’ve also been creating something for Halloween.
Our Halloween gingerbread biscuits come in playful seasonal shapes: ghosts, pumpkins, witches’ hats and spooky houses... each baked and decorated to bring a little handmade sweetness to Halloween celebrations.
