An Artisan Treat from Italy

I’m so pleased to share that I’ve been featured this week in

"The Artisan Founder Journal".

A platform that celebrates independent makers, craftsmanship, and the stories behind truly thoughtful products, so it feels especially meaningful to be included among creators who value authenticity and tradition as much as I do.

The article is dedicated to one of the bakes closest to my heart: cantucci.

It explores their history and origins, and the simple, beautiful ritual of how they are best enjoyed. Slowly, intentionally, just as they have been for generations. From their Tuscan roots to the tradition of dipping them into a sweet wine or coffee, cantucci are a perfect example of how something humble can carry so much culture and meaning.

This is something I care deeply about in my own work.

At Aria’s Cakes, everything begins with tradition. The recipes I use, the flavours I develop, and the way each biscuit is made are all rooted in authenticity.

There’s a quiet discipline in doing things properly, using quality ingredients, respecting time-honoured methods, and allowing each element to shine without overcomplication.

Because for me, it’s never just about baking.

It’s about creating something that feels real. Something that connects people to a memory, a place, or a moment. Something that can be shared, gifted, and enjoyed in a way that feels both comforting and special.

Being able to share this story through the journal feels incredibly meaningful, and I’m truly grateful for the opportunity.

And as Easter approaches, a time of renewal, togetherness, and sharing simple, meaningful moments. It feels like the perfect occasion to celebrate these traditions and the joy of gathering around something sweet.

To celebrate the feature, I’ve partnered with The Artisan Founder Journal on a special Easter giveaway. ✨

One winner will receive a curated Easter basket filled with a selection of my handmade cantucci:

  • Classic Almond

  • Lemon & Pistachio

  • Chocolate

  • Coffee & Hazelnut

Each one crafted in small batches, twice-baked for that signature crunch, and made to be enjoyed in the traditional way; with a warm drink, in good company, or during a quiet moment just for yourself.

To take part, you’ll need to enter the giveaway directly through The Artisan Founder Journal.

If you’d like to experience these flavours and traditions, I’d love for you to take a look at the feature and join in.

Wishing you a beautiful and joyful Easter, filled with warmth, sweetness, and moments to share.

Love,

Aria
