When 100 Chefs Became One Team: Guinness World Record Adventure

Have you ever worked alongside 100 chefs in one room?

Neither had we… until this past weekend.

At Aria’s Cakes, we always talk about creating magical experiences; but this time, we stepped into something truly extraordinary. My husband and I had the honour of being part of a Guinness World Record attempt for the longest tiramisu, and it became one of the most unforgettable moments in our journey.

A marathon of passion and precision for The Guinness World Record

The contest began at 7 a.m. on Saturday, following a full year of preparation by the organisers.

From the very first hour, there was an undeniable energy in the room. Different chefs, different styles, different rhythms in the kitchen; but one shared purpose. As the hours passed, we barely stopped. A few bites here and there, quick sips of coffee, the best in the world! Illy coffee! And straight back to work. Time seemed to blur as we worked late into the evening.

Then came Sunday morning… 7 a.m. again.

And somehow, we found even more energy. We were running on adrenaline, teamwork, and a deep sense of purpose. There was no hesitation, no doubt! Just a quiet collective feeling that something special was unfolding.

When everything clicked

By midday, something shifted.

The full team came together, and suddenly everything aligned. The movement, the timing, the focus. It all felt like one single rhythm. In that moment, it was clear we were about to achieve something incredible.

And then… we did.

440.58 metres of tiramisu

A number that still feels surreal to write.

152.000 ladyfingers - 1.843 kg mascarpone and cream - 465 kg sugar - 99 kg coffee - 348 kg eggs - 60 kg cocoa powder.

But beyond the record itself, what followed was just as powerful. Serving every slice, sharing the result of our work, and celebrating together after such an intense and beautiful journey.

The sweetest part of all

This wasn’t just about breaking a record.

All proceeds went to support the Esharelife Foundation, turning this achievement into something far more meaningful. It was about community, generosity, and the impact that can happen when people come together with heart.

Why we’re sharing this with you

We wanted to bring you into this moment because you are truly part of our story. It’s thanks to you; your trust, your support, and your belief in what we do, that we are here today.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your celebrations, for trusting us with your cakes, your Christmas magic, and so many meaningful moments. Your heart warming feedback and your kind, encouraging messages mean more to us than words can express.

This is a memory we will carry with us for a long time, and it inspires us as we step into our next chapter, with new products and more enchanting creations to share with you.

We’re so grateful to have you with us, supporting our journey.
